How to Burn Calories Fast
74Everything you do burns calories. You burn calories even when sleeping or thinking. It's true! Your body burns calories to provide itself with energy. Your body uses the energy it burns to perform the task at hand. But, how much is enough to burn weight?
The Most efficient Method for Losing Weight
Relying on these forms of calorie burners is not enough. The most
efficient method for burning calories is accomplished through
cardiovascular, muscle strengthening exercises and dieting.
Cardiovascular exercise burns the calories. Dieting keeps the weight
off. It prevents you from putting the weight on. Muscle strengthening
keeps the weight down. The more muscle you have the more calories you
will burn throughout the day which keeps your weight down more
effectively.
The most common misconception is that cardiovascular exercise is the most efficient method for losing weight. Cardiovascular exercise burns calories but does not keep the weight off. To keep the weight off you need to diet. And to efficiently keep the weight down you need to increase muscle mass by doing muscle strengthening exercises.
Running and dieting can be enough to loose weight. By Including muscle strengthening exercises into your exercise routine losing weight becomes easier. Without muscle strengthening exercises you will have to increase your diet and/or cardio to keep the weight down.
Beginners Guide to Exercise
For beginners, at first it may seem like a daunting task to include all three methods of calorie burners (cardio, dieting, muscle strengthening) into your exercise routine. It is! Don't be fooled by those who tell you otherwise. Loosing weight is not easy. It takes time and effort. The results though, are well worth the time and effort put in. Your self confidence will boost in many ways!
The best method for beginners who are having trouble mainting a routine is to "Take it slow!" I cannot stress how effective this method is. By doing too much at once you will feel overwhelmed. This will only result in a discontinueation of your exercise routine. Take on only what you feel you can handle.
When first starting a diet or exercise routine do you take it one step at a time?
See results without votingDieting and Cardio
Start off with a simple diet. The eventual goal is to cut out the unhealthy eating habits. So take it one step at a time. Start off by picking one unhealthy food you eat a lot and disallow eating that particular food on certain days of the week. This may seem like a tiny step, however, it will get you into the habit of saying no.
Eventually, you will be at a point where it will be easy to say no to unhealthy foods. The next step when you feel you are ready is to include cardiovascular exercise. It includes any exercise that will increase your hart rate. For example: running, swimming, sports .... The best cardio exercise to do is the one you like best. Repeat that to yourself: "the best cardio exercise is the one I like best." It does not matter how you get cardiovascular exercise so long as you are doing it. Since that is the case why not enjoy it?
Start off by doing cardio once or twice a week for at least 15-20 min. Remember, 10 min is not enough. The first 10 minutes is the warm up. Anything after that is the work out. Once you have the hang of this try and increase the time spent or the number of days spent doing cardio. it's all about moderation and taking it one step at a time.
Muscle Strengthening
The last step, when you feel you are ready, is to include muscle
strengthening exercies in your routine. In this phase it is important to
know exactly how to do the exercises. Each exercise requires specific
movements and must be done correctly. Otherwise, you will work the wrong muscle or may even injure yourself. Not to worry. Many websites provide videos on how to accurately do those exercises which I have included below. Or, if you have money you can hire a personal trainer to show you how to properly do each exercise.
